I normally don't do Alice for lolita stuff, but I found a photo last night while searching for inspiration and it was just what I needed at the time:

I'm aware that the Cheshire Cat was not there while she drank the potion in the first place in the story. The cat was placed in the drawing to balance the weight of things and strengthen the composition. It was mildly successful, but. Meh. He was inspired by this photo with some changes:

Very cool, I love the style and 'shading'. It's different from the usual 'macabre' Alice artwork, and I definitely like it :D

Hmmm... I like the line detail. You can tell a good amount of time and concentration was spent on it. The weight of the drawing is better with the cat, but I feel like something is missing still. Excellent job, anyhow. :>
